How It All Began…

Scott and I were two kids from the suburbs, raising our family of six with nothing but a dream to cultivate a beautiful home together.

As a young mom, my outlet was the kitchen. I had limited skills and resources but a passion to learn how to feed my people and create a connected, Christ-centered family culture. Our table became a place for both to flourish.

The dream expanded to include knowing where our food came from as we gradually took ownership of our food source. The opportunity to pursue that dream came in 2021 when we moved onto 11 acres in the upper Midwest. We dove right in, bought some chicks, planted some fruit trees, and we’ve been learning ever since!
