Ingredients
½cupsalted butter
1tspground cinnamon
¼cup honey
¼cuppowdered sugar
Instructions
Begin by adding softened butter to the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment. Or you can use a large mixing bowl with a hand mixer or a food processor to blend all the ingredients.
Add the rest of the ingredients to the bowl and beat, beginning on low and gradually increasing the speed to keep the powdered sugar from going all over. Beat on high until the butter is smooth.
You may need to pause the mixer and scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed. Continue mixing until the butter has become light and fluffy.
Serve at room temperature on your favorite breads and breakfast foods (banana bread, toast, waffles, etc.)
Storage
You can use whipped cinnamon honey butter at room temperature within two days. Or in the refrigerator in a covered container for up to a month.Since cold butter is difficult to spread, the best way to enjoy it from the fridge is to allow it to warm up before using it. Do not microwave! To freeze place in an airtight container for up to 3 months. Allow to thaw gradually at room temperature or in the refrigerator when ready to use.
